The Old Bell Hotel, Malmesbury
In one of the most beautiful towns in the Cotswolds and one of England’s oldest hotels, The Old Bell in Malmesbury is full of history and charm – something Kiki found captivating. She loved the luxe decor but relaxed vibe, the lovely garden and exploring the River walks and nature reserve beyond. With a dedicated dog-friendly dining area and plenty of treats on hand for four-legged guests, Kiki felt right at home. The team are super dog-welcoming with seemingly everyone a dog owner!
Bishopstrow House, Wiltshire
Bishopstrowe House was a real hit for Kiki, with its grand manor setting and sprawling 30 acres of beautiful gardens. She particularly loved the riverside walks, and the chance to splash in the newly opened agility course while the humans loved the spa! The hotel’s focus on making dogs feel welcome is evident from the moment you step through the door, with water bowls and treats aplenty and of special note was our beautiful garden room, with super luxe dog bed, enclosed garden and hot tub. Ellenborough Park, Gloucestershire
Ellenborough Park is the epitome of Cotswolds luxury, and Kiki soaked up every second of it! This 15th-century estate offers stunning grounds, ideal for leisurely strolls, and Kiki loved stretching her paws in the manicured gardens. For the more adventurous pup, the hotel is right on the doorstep of the Cotswold Way, providing fantastic walking routes. With a warm dog-friendly welcome, including a bed, bowl, and treats in the room, and the superb hospitality Ellenborough Park is known for, Kiki was thoroughly spoiled here.
Whatley Manor, Wiltshire
If there’s one place Kiki could stay forever, it’s Whatley Manor. This luxurious five star, eco-conscious manor house boasts a serene, tranquil atmosphere that Kiki picked up on instantly. She always raises her game and becomes slightly grand in luxe properties!. The well-kept gardens were a dream for her to explore, and with the Cotswolds on the doorstep, she had plenty of adventures. The humans loved the spa and the tasting menu at the Michelin star restaurant. Our room was fabulous and Kiki received a gorgeous bed, gourmet treats,, toy and goody bag.
Bailiffscourt Hotel, West Sussex
Bailiffscourt Hotel is a canine paradise, set within 30 acres of private parkland with a stunning beach just a short walk away. Kiki adored her seaside strolls, chasing waves and getting her paws wet. This medieval-style retreat made her feel like royalty with the royal treatment pets receive. We had a fabulous four poster bed and Kiki had her own dog mat, bowls, toys and treats awaiting her arrival, Bailiffscourt’s dog-friendly ethos shines through with a dedicated dog lounge was the perfect spot for Kiki to unwind while her humans enjoyed a spot of afternoon tea. It’s the ultimate dog-friendly beachside escape.
Glassonby Hall, The Rowley Estates,Lake District
For a more rustic, countryside escape, Kiki adored her time at Glassonby Hall, in a lovely rural setting in the Cumbrian Hills in the Lake District. This luxury, dog-friendly long house is perfect for a more laid-back retreat with endless hiking routes just outside the door. Kiki loved climbing the fells, Cat Bells is one of her favourites, and discovering hidden streams to splash in. The Hall is super spacious and the large kitchen with its Aga was a popular spot for Kiki. The Fetherston Arms is a great pub nearby.
Taplow House & Spa, Buckinghamshire
Kiki’s loved the Taplow House & Spa, a stunning Georgian country house near Windsor – just an hour’s drive from London.. Not only is this dog-friendly retreat perfect for pampering and relaxation, but it’s also surrounded by some fantastic walks for both you and your four-legged friend. Step out of the hotel and explore the scenic Thames Path or head to the nearby Cliveden Estate, where we strolled through beautiful gardens and ancient woodlands. With its dog-welcoming atmosphere and incredible walking trails right on your doorstep, Taplow House is an ideal spot for a memorable getaway. It also has a great spa with outdoor whirlpool – great for star spotting.
