FAQs
General
Are you insured?
Yes, WagWorks is insured to professionally care for dogs across all the services we offer with specialist animal-related industry insurer, Cliverton.
Are you licensed?
Yes, our daycare licence was awarded five stars by our local borough council, Hammersmith & Fulham. Our licence reference number is: 2024/00976/ANIMBD
Is there a discount for a multi-dog membership?
Yes, multi-dog households will receive a discount of 15% on their total membership fees. For those purchasing additional daycare credits onto their tiers you will also receive 15% on each daycare booking that both dog’s attend together.
What’s your neuturing policy?
We do not accept unneutered female dogs over 15 months into daycare. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of female dogs from potential unwanted mating, prevent conflicts among male dogs when females are in season, and, most importantly, promote the health benefits associated with neutering. Our Club Vet is available to provide more information about these health benefits, discuss neutering options, and elaborate on our policy in greater detail upon request.
For more information please get in touch with our healthcare team: healthcare@wagworks.co.uk.
What vaccines does my dog need to attend daycare?
We have a vaccination policy in place to protect the health and safety of all our member dogs. Our policy is that all dogs must be fully vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus (DHP), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. These vaccinations must have been given at least one week prior to a dog’s first day of attendance at WagWorks, or two weeks in the case of Primary (Puppy) Vaccinations, and our Club Vet will need to see proof of vaccinations before your dog attends daycare for the first time.
Once you become a WagWorks member, if you do not choose to get your vaccinations through the WagWorks healthcare team, ongoing proof of vaccinations from your primary veterinary practice will be required as and when they receive them.
Membership
How do I become a member?
It’s very simple! Just click ‘Join us’ at the top of our website and complete a short questionnaire based around your dog’s health, personality and temperament. We ask for a few details at this stage so that we already have an understanding of your dog’s individual needs and what you are looking for.
You’ll then be able to select a date and time for a Meet & Greet in person with our membership team. The meeting is a chance for you to ask any questions and for us to get to know more about you and your dog, from your lifestyle and preferences, to your dog’s health, temperament, likes and dislikes. We can then gauge the suitability of your dog to our environment and ensure we tailor their experience from the moment they set paw in the Club.
Please note: you will need to provide your dog’s up-to-date medical records (which you can request from your vet) before becoming a WagWorks member, including assurance that your dog is fully vaccinated, so please have these ready to avoid any delay in signing up!
Do I have to commit to a weekly slot?
No, you are given credits depending on what tier you choose and you can use them whenever you need to. You can also purchase additional daycare credits too.
I’m not a member, can I use / have access to any of your services?
WagWorks is a members-only dog club, so our core services, such as daycare, grooming and healthcare, are only available to our members to ensure they get appointments when they need them and to avoid lengthy waitlists. A WagWorks membership includes quarterly nose-to-tail health checks and all monthly parasite treatments, so we can be sure that every dog that is socialising with other members is healthy. Being members-only means that we can maintain a happy and healthy environment at WagWorks!
However, our training & behaviour services led by our in-house behaviourist, Winkie Spiers, are open to both members and non-members. This includes 1:1 home consultations, puppy classes, ticketed educational events and talks on specific topics.
What if I change my mind on membership?
When you become a WagWorks member, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling off period from your start date. After this there is a minimum membership term of three months and following this period, we require one months’ notice of cancellation. All membership fees will be payable up to the date of cancellation.
