Our Story
As lifelong dog lovers and city dwellers, we started WagWorks with a simple mission: to make life easier for urban dog owners and better for their dogs. We wanted to build a space from the ground up with a dog’s needs at it’s heart. A place where dog owners can conveniently access the services and support they need.

James
Founder
James Netherthorpe is an ex-banker who has spent his life surrounded by dogs and children. Living in London meant that it was complicated ensuring that his dogs were catered for in the right way. It was this frustration that has driven him to research the ethogram of a dog and meet with specialists to design an environment that fulfills a dogs needs.

Rhi
Co-Founder
With a degree in Psychology and a love for dogs, Rhi began to explore canine communication and behaviour. After meeting with a number of professionals in the industry, she realised just how misunderstood our canine companions really are. Inspired by this, she set out to create a unique, science-backed care solution designed to truly meet a dog’s needs.
